When it comes to managing money, for many of you budgeting is either a big pain, or a huge help. For one man, budgets are just plain sexy! His name is J. Money and he is dedicated to his blog, “Budgets Are Sexy.” Well ok, that’s not his real name, but even I don’t know his real name. Why? Because J has decided to remain anonymous online and for good reasons. In order to help people like me and you, he has opened up and poured out almost all of his financial information into his blog. He talks about his budget, how much money is spent on entertainment and how much goes to his bills, he even lets you look at his budgeting worksheet. So J is a smart man to stay anonymous online.

October 31 is fast approaching – are you ready?

Here are a few Halloween tips and reminders.

1. CANDY: be ready for all those trick-or-treater’s, but remember to hand out peanut/nut free treats.
2. LIGHTING: be sure to have your home well lit, so no one trips and kids can see where they are going.
3. AVOID DRIVING: try to stay off the roads during the trick-or-treat hours. Road are dark, and kids are excited, so driving visibility can be poor.
4. UNICEF: Halloween is Unicef’s main fundraising time. Look for the orange Unicef boxes and donate.
5. DRESS UP: get into the spirit of Halloween, dress up for work, school, or even to go to 7-11.
